Description: For this DOT activity, we started with reading the book "The Dot". After reading this book, we created our own version of the Dot. To create this Dot, we had a coffee filter and used different media on it to create different designs. We started with the dry media and then added the wet media. The media used to create this was crayons, chalk pastels, markers, watercolor paint, and watercolor crayons.
Activity: An activity that I would do for this, is to have students create their own dots and then have them write about and describe how the different media affected the coffee filter. They will use crayons, chalk pastels, markers, watercolor paint, and watercolor crayons. Once they complete their Dot, they will then write and describe how the different media dried.
